@alecsm7 I watched every episode. Started off ok, but the writing and storytelling degraded. I was hoping for a good final couple of episodes to make the rest of the season worthwhile but it didn’t happen. I would have given a season 2 a chance, but I won’t miss the show.

The Acolyte being cancelled is just another example of toxic internet hate. The show never got a chance to breathe and half the people hating on it never even watched an episode. It’s not my favorite piece of Star Wars content but it certainly didn’t deserved to be axed.

The Acolyte theory: what if Mae and Osha end up swapping places altogether? Mae, after hearing from Sol, goes to the light side and aligns herself with the Jedi. Meanwhile, Osha is influenced by The Stranger and becomes his apprentice. What if Osha is the titular ‘Acolyte’?
