I wear any attack from the Americans for so-called Prosperity as a badge of honor!!! I’m woke enough to see your corruption. 😂

"I'm extending a hand to anyone who's been disappointed by this kind of politics before. You deserve better. As a non-partisan, I've heard from both Democrats and Republicans who may not agree with me on every issue, but agree that right is right—and this situation is off.”

It’s funny because the same Assembly members who are yelling about meals and performing with brown bags actually eat the meals provided behind closed doors. They say one thing in public, but they eat another behind the scenes. Shameful.

Enough is enough. This is what happens when a city grows up without caring and planning for pedestrians first. It’s not jaywalking when the sign says to do it. #anchorageforward

In local government, it’s always up to the “people” to get things done. But too many folks are waiting for somebody else to step up. We all can do a part when we roll our sleeves up and work together.

September 2025 marks the 50-year anniversary of the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA), when residents of the City of Anchorage and the Greater Anchorage Area Borough voted to unite in 1975. We partnered with the Anchorage Museum to create an official MOA50 t-shirt! #munification

A tale of two cities. Sometimes when the privileged fight each other, the less privileged can get a victory. Let’s stop slumlords.

The irony? Last night the Assembly blocked on-site smoking of cannabis consumption because of outdated fears and prejudice… then approved more alcohol distribution at the Performing Arts Center as “responsible consumption.” 🍷🎭

So the same Anchorage Assembly that voted to increase criminalization of vulnerable people in designated spaces, voted against holding the state accountable for their failed behavior and mental health system that has impacted Anchorage so immensely.

Leading with a public focus on criminalizing unhoused absolutely flies in the face of the ongoing and future worker displacement we’re already seeing from automation and other variables. Cities can get ahead of this if they’re led with vision and willpower not fear.

In an effort to be relevant, Governor Dunleavy wants to talk about New York City politics. Shhhh. Hey governor watch your mouth, and be quiet. How about funding education and fulfilling the Alaska state constitutional obligations for investing in the people rather than grifting!
