Schools seem to pick up pace as we head into the holidays, but it was time well spent to reflect on the successes and next steps for our curriculum with the @ArborDubai parent community last week. Very grateful for the valuable feedback. Some inspirational takeaways!

So proud of my class! ✍️🏜️🐪. I love using a success criteria with scaffold and challenge. Amazing seeing children use the @VocabularyNinja 'Write Like a Ninja' book 📖 to independently select other criteria they wish to include in their writing as an extra challenge!

Class 3GD was full of budding authors today 🌷. The children loved writing their own stories based on 'The Great Kapok Tree.' Linking to our project 'Treasures of the Desert,' the children's stories include ghaf trees, Indian rollers 🐦 and much much more 🐪🏜️!

What a fabulous instruction writing lesson! First the children orally discussed how to make a jam sandwich and we discussed how specific the instructions needed to be. Then the children worked together to create instructions whilst they took turns making their sandwich🥪 ✍️😋
