@NHS_rockets March 19, 2022. This picture is taken after the @NHS_rockets earned their 4th state title & we are leaving an empty Kohl Center heading back to the hotel. Rockets finished the season 29-1.

@WisBBYearbook Amen Mr. Miller. That the annual Oshkosh Sectional hasn’t been played at the Kolf Sports Center at UW Oshkosh since 2010, or technically 2011 with Super Tuesday, is truly pitiful. The Friday night doubleheader was special. As was Sectional Championship Saturday.

What I miss most about the WIAA playoffs ... 1) Eight D1 teams at state 1a) Doubleheader sectional games at big venues

@BobbyBancroft The last 4 minutes of that game might be one of the single worst meltdowns in the last 30 years. So many things had to go wrong, & they all did. If we win, are we the #1 seed in the west region instead of the #2 seed in the east? 30 years later, still haven’t accepted that loss

@NHS_rockets Rockets traveled 11.5 hours over two days & defeated #8 Hudson & #1 DC Everest to win their 2026 WIAA regional & earn the opportunity for another 36 minutes of high school basketball next Thursday evening

@hoyatalk How does no one at the university not see this? Or do they not care? This isn’t rocket science. If the current student body is completely disengaged, they will be young alumni in the near future. We have lost a decade of young alumni that have zero interest in the program

A fan base is not inelastic--if an institution fails to cultivate a relationship, fans will go on with their lives. Don't look at the seats in the middle, look at the empty seats where students-- future alumni and future donors-- would sit. They're already gone, most for good.

@NHS_rockets Interesting stat regarding the recent @NHS_rockets rivalry with Kimberly. Since @CoachRabas was hired in 2016, #Neenah is 9-2 in regular season competition in Kimberly. When you consider the success the Kimberly program has had, that is a remarkable record against the Makers.

@BobbyBancroft Wonder if the alumni, administration, and students that worked so hard to run JT III out of G’Town ever reflect back on their childish behavior. You don’t make personnel changes for the sake of making a change, you make changes for GUARANTEED improvement.

With tonight's loss, Georgetown (13-13, 5-10) clinches an 11th straight season with a non winning Big East record. Hoyas last finished with a winning conference record in 2015. Since then, their best BE season came in 2019 at 9-9.
