I hope this isn’t goodbye. It may be possible to keep some level of engagement on here in my new gig.

In a couple of weeks, I am leaving Sky News. And indeed, leaving London, and journalism altogether.
It’s not a decision I’ve taken lightly, but it’s one that’s best for me and my family.
I’ll be moving to Edinburgh, and into the world of finance.

I beg of people to take a basic course in media law - this was the photo that the press was permitted to use, the second they got this image it was used universally by every publication.

@RebeccaCNReid It’s just such a deep, fundamental misunderstanding of the media and journalism; why on earth would any publication or outlet not want to use a more recent photo if one were available? It’s so bizarre to me.
