CLASSIC COUNTY SHIRT SWAPS. Thought I’d be able to find more pics than this but turns out we hardly ever swap shirts with opposition teams! The Boro ones are from after the Coca Cola Cup semi final 2nd leg at the Riverside on 12th March 1997 (just the 27 [TWENTY SEVEN] years ago now 🫠), and then the Rooney pic is from the 0-3 Carling Cup defeat at Goodison in September 2004. Rooney famously made a beeline for ex-Everton striker Stuart Barlow to get his shirt. Full marks to County for running a competition to win a picture of Rooney in that shirt, times were hard back then. Anyone else got any pics of County shirts swaps? I’m sure I’m missing something obvious. I believe @__jackhinchy__ was gifted Declan Rice’s West Ham shirt after the FA Cup game in 2021 to mark his professional debut.
