Slowly hitting me that unemployment is looking like a real possibility this August. Struggling to find trust grade registrar posts. Anyone know anywhere that might want to employ a post IMT and MRCP Med reg?

Working on a blog about competition ratios for the @take__AIM website and a little puzzled: When calculating the comp ratio, AIM had 85 posts in England, but when calculating the fill rate, AIM had 69 posts in England. Why the discrepancy? Does anyone in @acutemedicine know?

Acute Medicine and PHEM?! Honestly never knew this could be a thing. I know those who have dropped out of one, into the other. But not in combination. Much like AIM and ICM, there are certainly going to be a group of AM trainees that would be interested. @acutemedicine

@Plyons251 It is a real stinger 😞 Do other specialties pay for theirs?

ST4 soon and I’m excited but the costs coming are sad. Especially alongside buying a house. GMC fees up after the lower cost period. £455…plus £688 for the ePortfolio…then College plus an indemnity increase…the list goes on. Splitting it helps and I know we get the VAT but 🙁
