Yesterday for Kickstart,we talked about the letterA and how cool it is that it makes 2 sounds. Today, students took turns picking pictures from a sound sack and identified the beginning sound. If the picture started with /a/ they placed it on our /a/ train. #EVERYDAYCOUNTSINNBTPK

For Kickstart, students answered the question,"What do you like to do at school"? We chose a friend's answer and wrote one word on a notecard. Students were given a notecard and placed in the correct order as the sentence and read the word. @MelanieCosta013 #everydaycountsinnbtpk

Today for Kickstart, we played "Pick it & Stick it"! Students identified the first letter of their names, wrote the letter on post its and followed directions on where to place their stickey. Some of the prompts where, "place your letter on something green, round and soft".
