Yesterday I paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Pokhara, Mr. Dhana Acharya. We discussed the Metropolitan Energy Plan 2025-2030 that was developed with support of German Development Cooperation provided by GIZ. Also looked at pertinent issues of federalism in Nepal and Germany.

Congratulations to the Rastriya Swatantra Party for an overwhelming victory in the elections. The Nepali people have extended to you a very strong mandate for good governance, economic development and democratic renewal.
