The High Trees, Arles. Co. Laois. 8.4/10 🍻 Another bit of a hidden gem on the road between Portlaoise and Carlow. I'm trying to get to a few rural and village pubs over the next while.
Any recommendations?
@PintsBeauty
@SmallerFishGAA 100% agree. I remember many moons ago when you were working on NT and NT has some radio rights to the c’ship. 1st time I heard NT doing a c’ship game I was blown away in comparison to the stale muck RTE served up. And then the GAA gave RTE 100% radio rights!! That was a sickener.
So RTE did a championship preview with big names like Canavan, Hoggie, Sheedy and more
It didn't make the TV, they hid it on the shitty RTE player 😫
As i've always said, they take their rights for granted and do the bare minimum
@Offaly_GAA Hi, just wondering has the senior hurling championship match vs Dublin been moved to Sunday April 19th to facilitate a double header with the camogie?
@RyanCas08472289 Hi Ryan, I am not sure if you are aware of an upcoming primary school hurling game in Offaly in memory of Ashling. Here are the details….
@CarlowWeather Did you leave your robot mower out overnight in that frost? Curious as to what people do with them when frost expected ad by all accounts frost and robot mower batteries are not a good combination.
All-Ireland Preliminary hurling quarter finals are now gone.
Quarter finals will now be Munster runner up v 3rd in Leinster and Leinster runner up v 3rd in Munster.
McDonagh Cup table toppers go straight to the final with 2nd v 3rd in a semi
The motion to return the All-Ireland minor finals as curtain raisers to the Senior finals has been soundly defeated at Congress. Only had 15.8% support.
Two things:
Cork showed more fight in 3 mins of nonsense than they did in the biggest game of the lot.
And Deccie Dalton having a go at Cathal O’Reilly? The smallest and youngest lad on the field?
Do me a favour.
@SmallerFishGAA BOC will keep going with this angle. Playing on the edge etc etc. Resultantly Cork will become indisciplined and lose players to red cards and lose big game(s) as a result. Self fulfilling prophecy.
@museumofjerseys Any idea when the last time an inter county Leinster or Munster Championship team had a player wearing a long sleeve jersey a la Rhys Shelley for Tipperary last night? Has become a rare commodity.
