Commentated on Scotland at the World Cups in 1990 & 1998. This time will be elsewhere, far away in different venues, commentating on other countries. Have heard English colleagues say it can be a burden commentating on your own country - overly critical/not critical enough.

With a rigged voting system, Holyrood will always have a large opposition entirely made from unpopular unionist parties. No matter how many vote for SNP in a 2nd vote, they can't prevent seats being gifted to undeserving British parties. It's not a parliament, its Jocks playpen
