My thoughts and prayers go out to the @AirCanada pilots and their families who lost their lives in NY. Such a tragedy. Thinking of all the passengers as well as they battle through the mental and physical effects of this. So sad. ❤️🙏

Fortunately for Matthews, he was lifting his left skate off the ice when Gudas made contact so that reduces ligament stress There is still some inward stress so MCL injury would be main concern. Think all other structures would be ok

We celebrate the retirement of athletes in such a special way. But we don’t do that for people who work regular jobs very often. I overheard the flight attendant on my flight tonight say this was her last flight. 38 years working for @AirCanada. No fan fare. No recognition for her last flight. Just another day. So congrats to her!! I didn’t catch her name but it was flight 8839 from Raleigh to Toronto. I hope she gets a proper send off from her peers. Thank you for your service.
