@JEnsor247 Unfortunately there's no documentation on this. You can try starting a new repo and moving over the code.

@getgauge are there any documents explaining the process of upgrading from .net framework to .net core version of Gauge? Or would you suggest just create a new repo and rewrite the code? Only recently been introduced to Gauge so it’s a learning curve for me

@titusfortner TBH Gauge is neither BDD or keyword driven. It's a testing tool following the good old specification/scenario/steps format.

Actually, @getgauge do you consider your tool to be more of a BDD tool or a Keyword Driven Testing tool? I really should spend a little more time with it because the quick glance I took earlier, it seemed to discourage things I don't like... which I do like. :) #OnKDT

@saucelabs @Nikolay_A00 @joshin4colours I think it is useful to distinguish between BDD Tooling implementations and KDT implementations. BDD tooling can be made declarative with business logic in the feature files and implementation details abstracted into step files & page objects #OnKDT

A new article of mine published @thoughtworks Why test the user journey? “User journey tests assure the correctness of your website by simply walking the same paths that your users already do.” thoughtworks.com/insights/blog/…

@KeddSmai @harinee_m There are no plans for this at the moment. However it should be easy for you to extend and add support for Dart language using Gauge's plugin architecture.

@getgauge My webinar discusses how most people who use BDD tools are not actually doing BDD. Any testing tool that requires the additional overhead of english language pattern matching is rarely worth that added complexity.

Question: “What's the difference between Cucumber and @getgauge in terms of writing BDD style tests or should I just stick with <the> #mochajs way of writing testing?” #TitusOnBDD

I haven’t used Gauge, but my talk applies to any software that uses pattern matching to translate natural language into code. youtu.be/VBxKQt8tblc

State of the art #BrowserAutomation testing with #Taiko and @GetGauge now runs on every @gitlab commit to Lightmeter Control Center! It's never been faster to write flexible, reliable end-to-end tests (and bake quality into workflow).

When Raymond Biggs and Maggie Zong used #Gauge for testing for their client's (a home loan provider) app, they helped improve the overall quality of the product and its #userexperience. Read more about how they did this > gauge.org/2020/06/24/hom…
