They're going to expect us to go quietly and not stand up for the groups of people they promise to harm and the people they've scapegoated to consolidate their power. We'll organize stronger than after 2016. We have no choice.

How we organize and respond to this will determine whether it's a setback or a loss for those of us who dream of a more perfect Union that is geared up and ready to tackle modern problems.

@atrupar They saw how much he hurt immigrants the first time and signed up for more. Rich people convincing poor white people that brown people are a threat to them to distract them while they sell the country for parts and destroy what is left of our democracy.

If Trump wins, there will be efforts to blame Russian interference or the Harris campaign or Biden, etc. That's all fair. But we need to be clear eyed that a huge swath of America likes what Trump is selling. Transphobia. Mass deportation. That's what he ran on. And here we are.
