Here's the vision we're crafting for @GetRevealAI and how we're fundamentally changing the way businesses engage with customers. The Current Paradigm Businesses and brands over-rely on quantitative metrics when it comes to customer feedback. Surveys, NPS, and web analytics are used to stich together a picture of customer preferences, pain points, and attitudes. At best, these metrics give us a partial picture of our customer. While these metrics can be great at telling us what a customer is thinking, they typically don't tell us why. And yet, we over-index on these metrics because quantitative metrics are the easiest to measure at scale. By only picking this low hanging fruit, we end up with sub-par customer insights, and as a result, sub-par customer satisfaction. The Emerging Qualitative Paradigm Our current tools aren't set up to analyze qualitative feedback at scale; "qualitative analytics" seems like a misnomer when you think about it from a traditional standpoint. It's like asking someone to use a ruler to measure what color an apple is; the tools are fundamentally mismatched to the job to be done. This is why gathering qualitative feedback has always been an activity that doesn't scale: interviews and focus groups provide deep insights, but you can only reach a relatively small number of people with these methods. And, making sense of large amounts of verbatim feedback has, historically speaking, sucked. The emergence of LLM's and generative AI has changed this; now, we can gather and analyze rich, qualitative feedback at scale. This changes everything. From data, to dialogues. From statistics, to stories. From numbers, to narratives. From metrics, to motivations. From clicks, to conversations.
