At 1:42am this morning the world lost a very special man. Tommy Tootles (my Dad) dearly cherished by his family and friends, peacefully passed away following a very short illness, surrounded by love 💕 Heartfelt thanks to @ribblesdaleward for their care and compassion x

A bit of a tough start to the morning with tears from Isla and lots of questions about death and dying. She doesn’t want me or Nathan to die, she is worried she’ll forget me and that she’ll be left on her own. 😥

Phoebe died by #suicide in 2021 Life in 2022 without her seems such a daunting prospect So planning a Phoebe Day off work each month To remember deeply, to meet with her friends, to walk in her steps, to plan her legacy, to eat ice-cream, olives and drink cocktails

Tonight I told my 6yo daughter that I have breast cancer. I’ve known for a couple of weeks, but only found out the plan for my treatment today (chemotherapy followed by surgery). (I told my 18yo son as soon as I found out a few weeks ago so he’s been home for the last week 💙)
