@meafius In (unfortunate) defense on NFTs, the NFTs themselves were the digital receipt and proof of ownership, and the idea in concept had potential. What they became were pngs overrun by FOMO bros who wanted a quick buck, and that led to its swift demise

Tbh they're just completely different situations. NFTs were functionally just pngs. AI does something, and yeah it does most things badly but as long as they can somewhat hide that from users then it's not a big issue for Open AI, Google, Microsoft, etc

The way we killed NFTs by not using them or buying into the hype, I feel like we could've done the same with AI. But people are lazy. They don't want to learn new skills. And now AI is more common than it ever should've been and killing the planet at a fast rate.

Like, in overall gaming, Xenoblade Chronicles 1, is the best game of all time, no doubt. It affects on everyone that plays it is amazing to see
But in overall Xeno series it's like, for me, number 3 for really silly reasons
