I agree BTC payout is usually better if you’re doing manual BTC → GOMINING conversions because of the conversion fees. But with auto reinvest enabled, GoMining says the BTC converts into GOMINING without a fee, so that changes the equation quite a bit when factoring in the maintenance discount.

@Ghostface_io It was yes. Not sure how I never caught it. I checked some of my older earnings and the swap fee was much less, especially last year. About 2 sats or so for every 1k ish, 105 was very noticeable. lt encouraged me to switch back to BTC, probably for the best!

All figured out, this is because there are conversion fees when setting your reward to gmt. I had no idea I’ve been technically losing small amounts everyday by having my account set on reinvest.
Turing on BTC and never switching back 💜

I got a bunch of goboxes and it upgraded my bonus miner instead of getting bonus miner days. Now it is at 1.7 th. That is fantastic.
