people most likely ignored arknights since it's just a tower defense game but players from CN and JP have been waiting for this for a long time

No shade to bro because it’s a genuine question, but I’m lowkey convinced most issues in the space can be solved by reading and having longer attention span. People legit tune off the moment they read “pity don’t carry forward.” To be fair, AKE gacha beats around the bush instead of having a concise explanation because they added new things like 60x for dossier, 30x for free 10x not tied to pity, and 2 separate counts for 50-50 and spark system, but it ultimately boils down to this: If you want to guarantee a rate up 6*, save 120 pulls. Whether you get them early or not, be prepared to go 120. If you’re lucky and win an early 50-50, then stop. If you do not want the rate up, do not pull on that banner, not even a single 10x. Better to save and only commit for a spark, than to waste spark counts. Hope this helps!

@Miw00o @WhippedBearchu @goonble69 @mrpokke The 120 doesn’t, that resets per banner. The 80 pity (the guaranteed 6 star, not rate up 6 star) does get carried forward. Treat the 120 as a fail safe and resets once activated or once the new banners roll in. It’s banner specific pity.

@Iyokuu The more I read the replies that disagree with you, the more I realize that half of them are there to rage bait for attention and the other half never bothered to read past the “guaranteed at 120 IF you lost 50/50 on 80”. Some research about the rates also go a long way, but nope

Arknights Endfield is about to be a big reality check for a lot of you. They have been successfully filtering out folks who enjoy playing games vs folks who have gambling addictions and follow hype trends. Two things are about to happen. 1. That stupid "elitist" BS is gonna start up again. 2. Many of you will learn what a real "F2P struggle" is by failing to manage your pulls properly or planning accordingly. That gacha system is fine. Do I like it personally? No. Is it brand new to the gacha space? No. We've just been pacified by Hoyo-monetization and now a lot of you thinks that (or something akin to that) is the norm.
