Webb is a master at hunting weak contact on the floor. He’s in the 90th percentile for Ground Ball rate at 53.1%. By living in the ‘Shadow Zone’, where he gets a 53.7% swing rate and forces hitters into defensive contact that turns into easy outs.

Everything flows through the Sinker and Changeup. His sinker is the primary weapon as it has an 11 Run Value, putting him in the 98th percentile for Fastball Run Value.

This is an example of why a comprehensive assessment for even a remote athlete is needed. Drill packaging is not achieved by finding what we “think” will work but rather identifying specific inefficiencies and partnering them with adequate training environments to drive change.

Facilitate Clean Rotation: By training the rear hip and knee to efficiently rotate out of the hinge, we replace the aggressive, late "push" with an effortless, sequence-driven rotation.

@JakeQualia @premierpitching During our recent assessment, data revealed a mechanical efficiency leak in the early-to-mid kinetic chain. Jake demonstrates a tendency to get "stuck" over his back hip, maintaining excessive rear hip and knee flexion too far down the mound.
