I arrived in Lusaka in 2017 with a one-way fare here, no job, a failed business, mountains of debt from it, and no immediate prospects. This year, my business turns 5 years old, and I will be a millionaire in a few months. Nothing much changed. I simply switched my environment.

I’ve lost 15 kgs from the time I started working out. I need a new wardrobe ☹️. I feel like I have a new lease on life- so much energy plus I sleep better now. My walking partner signed us up for the KK marathon and I am super excited. It’s my first one. 10Kms. 😊

ZAMPOST needs a serious rebrand, they have so advantage(Resources and Brand) over the courier services. Otherwise i love idea of buying something from another town and having it delivered right at my doorstep.

I was falsely accused. You won't see many people raising their hands because of fear of insensitive follow up questions & insinuations,("but how did this happen?you must have done something wrong,there's no smoke without fire"),the same fear that stops rape victims from talking.

Unfortunately for us, Zambians are more loyal to their political parties of choice or alignment than to the country!

I am still of the opinion that this is bad law. Before this law, bail was granted on a case to case basis and for me, that was the best approach. This however, will have accused persons punished before being found guilty. It goes against the presumption of innocence. Denial of bail, should never be looked at as a form of punishment and a deterrent measure for other will-be offenders, because at the point of bail, we are unsure of the guilt or innocence of the accused person. We should be moving towards making more offences bailable, as long as accused persons meet the requirements for admission to bail. Also, considering our President at one point was charged with a non bailable offence on charges that many say were trumped up for close to, or over half a year, I expected that we learned from that… but here we are, increasing the number of non- bailable offences.
