Thank you to the thousands of volunteers and supporters in North Carolina who made this victory possible. This shows that the @DNC’s challenges are frivolous and we will defeat them all. 🙏🇺🇸

Huge news! North Carolina marks Kennedy’s second challenge victory over the DNC. NC Board of Elections certified the We The People party ... We The People nominated @RobertKennedyJr for president + @NicoleShanahan for vice president 🇺🇸 kennedy24.com/kennedy_defeat…

@CLT_Urbanists Elizabeth is missing. And midtown has the density, but not the infrastructure. Those roads are terrifying to walk along/ across. CDOT has to do more before that area grows even more.

Charlotte Developers have finally figured it out. Intersection welcomes cars, pedestrians, and cyclists while keeping everyone safe. Bike lane is protected and cars are forced to slow down with neckdowns. I hope more intersections will start to look like this.

A strategy for Charlotte's West End that's been in the works for years proposes tearing down acres of highway infrastructure that divided the historically Black neighborhoods from Uptown. charlotte.axios.com/331772/i-77-re…

Not to mention that a used bike is roughly the cost of a parking pass at Elon, bike parking is closer to where people need to go, and biking is often faster. Now let’s just make it safer!

A college campus should prioritize pedestrians and cyclists. No one should feel the need to drive a car across campus. Maybe people would stop complaining about parking on campus if they felt safe riding a bike instead 🤔

I loved seeing Elon’s new bike lane connecting the Francis Center to Danieley Neighborhood while on my run this weekend. I would love to see them on Haggard, O’Kelly, and Williamson next as they are all plenty wide for them. I hope the Town of Elon can follow suit!

As much as I love the music in Kahoot, I don’t like how it rewards the fastest answers (especially for ESL students) and that I cannot assess all students easily. What quiz platforms do teachers like more? #eloned

@GiesTimmy Blooket! Students move at their own pace, but it’s fun and competitive… though the elements of competition are more related to luck than speed.

@schledorn @scomorrison I love it! So much variety in games as well. I’m going to start testing it out. Thanks!

Never hurts to review old concepts! We did the fire snake experiment today, which explored chemical changes again. I was amazed at how much students could recall. So much fun too!

The best part was the amount of students that came in today asking if we were going outside again.

I challenged students to think of what animal could live there, what biome it was a part of, what the shelter provided the animal, and where that animal falls in the food chain.

Yesterday we went outside to build “homes” for various animals. Concluded our unit on ecosystems, got kids outside on the beautiful day, allowed them to express creativity related to curriculum, and allowed students to move after a morning of NC state tests #ElonEd
