@JeromeAdamsMD If this is true, this is tragic. There are particular groups in our society that truly benefit from telehealth. This includes the elderly and reproductive healthcare, including postpartum care for women.

Cutting telehealth coverage is a step backward. Telehealth ⬆️ access for: - Seniors - People with disabilities - Rural communities - The Immunocompromised And it helps keep kids in school (virtual visits vs missed days). Cutting telehealth won’t make America healthier.🤷🏽‍♂️

@kate_manne Everyone gets to hold their own version of hope for outcomes. Perhaps the most important version of hope makes us act instead of embracing a kind of despair that creates non action. However, no one knows the future, so your hope and my hope are just possibilities among many.

I don't understand the idea that we have to have hope that things will improve, or faith in humanity, in order to keep fighting. We keep fighting not because we hope it may all work out but because, without our efforts, it will undoubtedly get even worse for the most vulnerable.
