@CinematicxNews This era can work for complimentary stories like Rogue One, but to build an entire new saga on it is crazy. We know how it ends, and that any new character they add doesn't contribute to the big overall fight they keep pretending to be a part of. It's nostalgia-baiting.

@Ofcimcold He r*ped Becca which is why he had a secret child, and he lost his girlfriend because she was absolutely evil. And he stayed with his girlfriend even after she tried to kill his son's mother. He does go through stuff, but he's absolutely the villain still.

For someone who endured a lifetime of abuse, isolation, and heartbreak, it's hard to see Homelander as the true villain of the story.

@P3droHB_ Yes it's worth it, first 3 seasons are awesome. And the ending isn't as bad as people make it out to be, it's actually fine. A bit light on action scenes, and some big plot holes, but the final season finishes most of the character arcs right.

Now that I know the ending of The Boys, and I see everyone complaining, I wonder if it's even worth finishing the first season.

@friedplantain12 @Sony Hughie season 1 would've never stood up to Butcher, and especially never fight him physically. And he definitely wouldn't have stood up to Homelander, which he sort of did in season 5 episode 1. And he started way more hopeful and naive, even if he had serious rage.

@Edimarfilms @xajnie Most of the movie he thought he'd never be able to come home anyway. And even if he wanted to come back, it would've taken at least 5-10 years since he left, meaning most of them would be adults by then.

@Jukafah @everymovieplug Wasn't that the point though? that the X-Men couldn't stop them, so they had to go back in time to change reality and erase their existence. If the Sentinels hadn't been that powerful, it wouldn't have made sense to send Wolverine back in time, instead let him fight them.

@Thedudleys14 @cosmic_marvel There's a percentage the theaters get and advertising costs, so not even close to that. It's probably around the break-even, maybe getting 30-60 million back (which is still a lot of money, but maybe they also lost that amount, who knows).

He even has a very similar suit to the one in the game. The game came in 2018, 3 years before No Way Home (1 year before Far From Home). They surely played it while writing the script.
