Watched Crank immediately beforehand, incredible double feature.

Watched Satantango. True-to-life picture of mankind, petty crooks trudging through a festering swamp of piss and shit. Drinking yourself blind is the most sensible thing to do in such a place really. The doctor came out on top.

This is partly jest and partly serious. The movie is horribly misguided in a lot of ways and like 60% awful but the best moments are solid.

Advent Children is so good. That people don't actually look like Nomura characters in real life is a black mark against existence itself. Heil anime. Heil Japan. Heil Final Fantasy.
