Today, as Captain of UOX FC, I had the honour of representing our club alongside TikTok FC representatives in a highly productive meeting with the Minister for Youth, Sports and Arts in @BugandaKingdom_ , Owek. Robert Sserwanga Ssalongo (@robert_serwanga). We highlighted the positive impact we have created through our charitable initiatives and community give back programmes, and explored ways Buganda Kingdom can support our activities. The Minister expressed strong commitment to partnering with us and granted UOX FC a prestigious opportunity to participate in this year’s Masaza Cup. We will compete in a dedicated group featuring BBS FC, CBS FC, TikTok FC, and UOX FC. The top two teams from our group will play a special final on the same day as the MASAZA CUP FINAL an exciting platform that will significantly boost our visibility and open doors to bigger brands and partnerships. Additionally, the Minister generously provided complimentary tickets for all UOX FC players to attend every Masaza Cup match. This not only rewards our players but also creates valuable opportunities for networking and brand growth. This partnership clearly demonstrates Buganda Kingdom’s dedication to engaging and uplifting the youth through sports and development. It marks a new and promising chapter for UOX FC as we continue to blend sporting excellence with meaningful community impact.
