well yes ! Azula took Ba Sing Se and successfully defended the Fire Nation during the eclipse. From what we know of the lore she is among the best strategist of her era .

Since Azula was able to conquer Ba Sing Se, while General Iroh failed after a 600-day siege and even lost his only son in the process... Doesn’t that make Azula the superior military strategist? And if so, wouldn’t that make her the Fire Nation’s greatest military asset?
