'' South Africans are lighter than West and Central Africans on average'' You speak as if everyone in South Africa has the same phenotype as certain Tswana people who are light skin

@MelaninExtracts You're clearly delusional at this point because Southern Africans are lighter than West and Central Africans on average and that is due to many factors including environmental adaptation. I bet your agenda is trying to homogenize this continent and act like we all look the same.

@GildedCoprolite And the retard reveals himself. What is this supposed to prove, exactly? Genetic similarities by proximity? Because that's all it is, yet your mystery-meat, China-glazing ass still wants to refute the Chinese L above.

250,000 Han Chinese were masacred by us Viets during the Siege of Nanning in 1076. So can we count this as revenge?

@ThePureViet @MundaneDesolate Everyone can be conquered; what matters is revenge. The Chinese massacred the Manchus and Mongols and still rule those two ethnic groups today. But the Vietnamese will always be ruled by others, perhaps ruling the poor Cham people? LOL🤣🤣🤣🤣

@GildedCoprolite It was only under the Song that Nanning was built into a fortified city, where actual Han Chinese started immigrating and actual Han Chinese soldiers were stationed. Try reading an actual book instead of spending too much time on genetics why don't you.

@ThePureViet “Full of Han” the locals were assimilated by the Tang and considered “Chinese” retard, it’s like saying the 20k Zhuang that were sent to invade Indonesia during the Yuan were Mongols. Either way pointless and laughable tuff guy act when you are literally peripheral negritids

@GildedCoprolite > Viets killing Viets Have you even tried reading actual Song records? That city fort was full of Han Chinese in preparation for the Song-Viet war. Su Jian literally asked Emperor Shenzong for an additional 50,000 soldiers from the Xia front to fight in Nanning.

@ThePureViet Nanning and any surrounding region in Lingnan was never demographically “Han”, even today the Chinese there today are just assimilated SEA/viets, not even southern Chinese. It was basically viets killing viets. You can keep citing this to feel better about yourself though

@GildedCoprolite The reason Nanning was developed into a major city and saw an influx of Chinese immigrants was because of our independence and rise to prominent. Even before the war, the Song Emperor deployed additional civilians and troops to the city.

China is nice now, but the Shang dynasty would not have been a good one to spawn into, probably. The Shang royalty famously claimed an exclusive connection to the divine and sealed off superspiritual contact between the realms of man and the realm of the spirits for everybody else. What were their spiritual beliefs exactly? Oracle bone divination, yes. And a lot of human sacrifice. Like massive amounts of human sacrifice. Aztec level. The Shang (1600-1046 bc) were famous for their bronze vessels...basically an ornate pot (they were the only Chinese tribe who could forge them). When a human head was found in one it was thought to be an freak accident. But ANOTHER head was found in a crushed-in bronze vessel. And that head had signs of definitely having been boiled. Was this cannibalism? Or just another offering to the gods? In any case, the consumption was almost certainly ritualistic, not like FOR DINNER. This is why a lot of people like to draw the line at the more mannerly Zhou dynasty as the official start of Chinese cultures. I'm like nahhhhhh we can READ those dang oracle bones man. And the human sacrifice tradition of burying concubines and retainers with the dead emperor continued all the way to the Qin.
#眞高句麗人@gimyeon47945629

@JoshuaBarzon For reference, number 4 was a place where human sacrifices were practiced. The first child was even killed and boiled for consumption, so I would never choose number 4—I would choose Egypt or Mesopotamia instead. x.com/kenw_2/status/…

Genetics of Qin. The inhabitants of Qin were long connected to the central plains through Zhou and Shang colonization of the ancient northwestern frontier, a semi-barbarian contact zone with Tibeto-Qiangics, Siberians, and Indo-Europeans.

Bronze Cowrie Shell Container with Tribute Scene, Dian滇kingdom, Western Han Dynasty 西汉时期古滇国贡纳场面青铜贮贝器 Cowrie shells served as physical currency and a symbol of wealth in the ancient Dian Kingdom. Originating from the Indian Ocean or Southeast Asian seas, they flowed into Yunnan via the Southern Silk Road. Dian aristocrats stored large quantities of these shells in such bronze vessels to mark their status, power, and wealth, making these containers essentially the "piggy banks" or "safe boxes" of Dian nobility. These scenes depict tributary offerings from neighboring tribes to the Dian Kingdom. Among the figures, those with topknots (椎髻) and braided hair (编发) were likely indigenous Yunnan people, while the figures with high noses and deep-set eyes were probably South Asians or Burmese people.
