After that, everything between us went cold. When the results came back, they confirmed what I already knew: 99.9999% probability of paternity. He looked relieved and said, “See? Now we can move on.” But I couldn’t. Because the problem was never the test it was the fact that he believed strangers before he believed me. That same week, I filed for divorce.

Girl you filed for divorce because he wanted reassurance? Being his wife doesn’t magically erase the reality that men have literally raised kids into adulthood just to find out the child was never theirs. That type of betrayal and heartbreak is different. Y’all be way too hard on men for wanting peace of mind, then wonder why so many don’t even want marriage anymore. God forbid a man wants to be 100% sure before dedicating his life emotionally, financially, and mentally to a child. Personally, I feel DNA tests should be mandatory before any man signs the birth certificate.

Men think that they can just do the DNA test and everything will move on. Lol..They think, there's no big deal and if there's nothing to hide, women shouldn't feel bad about it. It's not about the DNA silly, it's about your intention and how it shows that you don't respect how that intention will hurt me. If you want to respect my feelings, do the DNA behind my back and take that secret to your grave.
