#GirodItalia

@lame_karma @lucasaganronald if it doesnt matter, why doesn't he take a turn? lol
English

@lucasaganronald Wheel sucking at 16% gradient?! Tells me most of the haters don't even cycle because there is no drafting at that point. Gall took a chance out of necessity and if he wouldn't have, Joanas would have done a solo attack.
English

Ok, watched the stage, but why is everyone here hating on Jonas 😭😭
And here is wallpaper for you 💙 #GirodItalia

English

@freddiejevans_ @faustocoppi60 its not about that he won, its about how
had he just taken two turns nobody would have peeped about it, he is criticised for racing like a rat while he is supposed to be a champion
English

@faustocoppi60 lol why do people always seem to forget that this is professional sport, their job is to win
English

Alessandro Ballan (world champion in 2008) in today's L'Equipe: "Racing is racing but for me, it wasn't fair. It would have been better if Vingegaard let Gall win the stage after Decathlon worked all day."

@jonaldoTheKing @faustocoppi60 tactical was Indurain sitting in riders' wheels but then also letting them take the stage win
you think its "clever" to make everyone in the peloton hate you because you are attacking clearly worse opponents than you behind their backs like a little rat?
English

@faustocoppi60 Wtf. First time in sport history someone gets blasted for being clever and tactical
English

@faustocoppi60 he could have just taken two turns in the last 3km and nobody would have peeped about it
English

@Tratnikstan Pogacar rode defensively on a sore knee after he won 4 stages
it was the best he could; like, do you doubt one second he would not attack if he could?
the hate is that Jonas sucks wheel on riders who are worse than him then attacks them behind their backs like a little rat
English

@Tratnikstan by comparing Vingegaard to Gall you are making the point of the "haters" for them
English

The Red Bull KM truly is a marketing gimmick at the Giro d'Italia because 99% of the time, the breakaway takes it, and when the peloton does take it, the race organisers have put it at the foot of the final climb where most GC riders are smart enough to skip it. #GirodItalia
English

@Tratnikstan @Rastoaaa dude he had a mech at bottom of Oropa and did a Pantani afterwards what are you smoking
English

@Rastoaaa Couldnt drop Narvaez and Schachmann on stage 1
Unconvincing on Oropa vs worse competition than Jonas has here
No wonder he beat Ganna on a TT with a 3-5 km climb
English

People forgot that Pogačar was also kinda ass in week1 of Giro as well
Jonas still has a shot to podium the Tour i think

@thealepalombo this picture is Polignano though, 120km from Lecce
Lecce doesn't even have beach
why misrepresent it? it's beautiful enough in itself

3/ LECCE, The Florence of the South
If you've followed me for a while, you know I've talked about Lecce extensively. It's one of my absolute favorites. And the data keeps proving me right.
The Baroque architecture here isn't just "nice." It's carved from golden Leccia stone that glows at sunset like the city is on fire. Every church, every palazzo, every doorframe. Hand-carved.
Population: 93,000. University city. Year-round life.
€1,647/sqm (+6% YoY). Centro €1,852/sqm. Peripheral areas under €1,000/sqm.
€200-300K buys 120-180 sqm. In the centro storico.

I'm Italian. I just got back from Rome.
Over dinner, old friends and I started arguing about the same thing we always argue about: which cities in Italy are genuinely incredible but nobody ever talks about?
We went back and forth for hours. By the end of the night, we had a list.
7 hidden cities that most people, including most Italians, will never think to visit, let alone move to.
No crowds. No tourist markup. Insane quality of life.
