On Thursday, the Iran-linked front group Ashab al-Yamin claimed responsibility for directing two drones at the Israeli embassy in London (@IsraelinUK). The group claimed the drones had "carcinogenic" and "radioactive materials." Reuters and other media reported today that police are investigating an incident near the Israeli embassy. Yesterday, I posted a video of Ashab al-Yamin claiming it targeted the embassy. I isolated the voices in the video it published and picked up additional details that may have been hard to notice (transcribed in the video). One of the suspects in the video speaks in English with a British accent. Also, the Arabic said in the video has an Iraqi accent (H/T to my colleague @AhmadA_Sharawi for picking that up). The spoken Arabic is also a common saying among Shia Muslims. Some of the video was recorded off a computer monitor. A folder showing .docx and .mp4 files appears in the video for a split second. Some of the files appear to be in English and Arabic. I was able to crop the image of the folder from the video. It is difficult to say if the suspects behind the alleged incident deliberately left this evidence in the video. Nevertheless, it is information that is worth looking into if Ashab al-Yamin's claim is authentic.
