Wouldn’t the end result for the dead hand terminal just be the same as the genesis terminal? Aka almost worthless, and each item inside equalling the same prices as CSFloat/ steam market? I feel that even gloves will reach this point due to the €2000 cap, the only items that’ll end up being “profitable” would be super high end FN/MW gloves… Valve should’ve limited all items to a max payment of €300, the essence of “gambling” would be maintained, people would still open the terminal like any other case for the potential of getting a high end item for 80% off, Valve would get their cut, and Valve can defend it as “only kinda gambling” because they don’t decide on what prices the community agrees to on the steam market and third party sites. Wild guess, but with how it’s currently operating I wouldn’t be surprised if the terminal goes to $0.03 with all high end FN gloves maxing at €2005 (in 2027)

New opinion on terminals Valve needs to lower the % they’re gauging off of so the offers are more appealing Right now it feels like a ton of offers that should feel good to hit are overpriced 😡
