The first preview screening of Bruce Robinson's "Withnail & I" (1987) appeared to be a total disaster- the audience sat there stony-faced, never laughing once.
It was only after the screening had concluded that a distraught Bruce Robinson discovered that the audience was comprised entirely of non-English speaking German tourists who were all staying at a hotel nearby.

1.45pm, I am on the @Mattallwright show on @channel5_tv discussing petrol prices. Are we being ripped off? And how can you save money?
Do share where you've seen particularly cheap petrol (anything still under £1.35?) or anywhere outrageously expensive...
Also what jobs do people do that allow them to be in the beer garden all day yesterday and today? There’s literally zero free outside tables in Manchester. Yesterday there were queues of people waiting in the middle of the day? You couldn’t move for beer garden folk.
