@BTnewsroom @VicMensa Lifting the embargo would likely normalize Cuba economically and politically. Much of what the U.S. calls 'barbaric' governance may itself be a reaction to decades of economic embargo. The hostility mirrors back. Open the relationship, and both sides might finally move on.

Go to Cuba. Bring aid. Volunteer at civil service organizations. Meet with local activists (like the LGBTQ groups convoy participants met with & enjoyed a drag show by last Sunday!). Buy from their artisans. Patronize their bars. Tip the workers well. Ask me how!
