Chance it could make anyone feel uncomfortable. What is the general consensus nowadays on “dude” as a gender neutral term or should I just cut it from my vocabulary? As much as I like using it if it’s just not the move now I would like to start trying to cut it from my speech

@cashonlyisland it's so funny too, because to my knowledge the game was unoptimized as hell at time of release and was also full price. So the exact issue this guy's describing but in 2008.

Always kills me that Ubisoft with a 2008 game like Far Cry 2 has this level of interactivity and fidelity. It runs on a toaster and still looks relatively decent. They have water reflections with the two camera technique, at the cost that water must always be at the same height.

Feels wrong of me to say but I think delaying your games around to avoid big players is always a weird move. I understand if youre in a similar genre and discoveribility but if you have a unique game and already did the work for marketing you'll be okay. Audience will find you.

I admit, back in 2009-2010 when my parents had their friends over I used to play Uncharted 2 in the background just to see if they stopped to watch it for a bit. It worked every single time. It even convinced one of them to buy a PS3 for their kid 😭

@NElLDYLANDY The ongoing debate of Gundam as a symbol is prob my fav part of 00, esp when the Trinity show up. In a zoomed out sense, it's a reflection of the series as a whole. After several AUs from many different artists making ~30 years (at the time) worth of art, what *is* Gundam anyway?
