One of my aunts lost her last child to sickle cell in 2006. The girl was her favourite child. They travelled together,ate inside the same plates infact they went on two trips to hajj together. Their bond was too strong. When she was born, she wasn’t an SS but she had blood transfusion one time and that was where the mistake occurred. The mother sued the hospital at the time but she had to let go because the deed had been done. Few months after the lady died, my mum went visiting and decided to occupy her room since she’ll be staying for days. My mum said after she showered, she felt another person use the bathroom after her but since it had been a long journey down there, she felt like she was imagining things. Not long after, she felt another body lying next to her on the bed and she could hear her breathe clearly and loudly. My mum said she stood up, picked the pillow and went downstairs. On getting downstairs, she met her aunt but she acted like she just wanted to see a movie. Not long after, they started discussing and the mother told my mum she knew why she was downstairs, she explained that there was nothing they’ve not done to send her spirit away from the house but everything proved futile😭 She said the only solution was them taking her out of the grave( she was buried inside the compound) and taking her to another gravesite but she wouldn’t allow that as her daughter was precious to her even in death. My mum said all through her stay in the house, she was very present and active. That was the last time my mum went there anyways.
