@JoJoFromJerz I really don’t have sympathy for the Japanese PM. She enjoyed fashioning herself as a MAGA type, and she should know this is the price. Sitting there enduring his bull 💩.

Over the course of my life, I have shoveled snow dozens of times, and not ONCE have I ever needed an ID. Never needed a passport to go to work either. Hell, my drivers' license is sufficient to board a plane as long as I'm flying within the continental U.S. These jackasses are doing a verbal sleight-of-hand. They keep saying "You can't do ___ without an ID," to make it seem like DEMs are being unreasonable. "Oh, why are you so opposed to voter ID? You need an ID to buy cigarettes / buy beer / watch a sunset." But they're not telling the whole story, they think everybody's dumb: they want you to THINK they're just talking about drivers' licenses as ID. They're NOT. Their stupid "SAVE Act" does not find drivers' licenses, college IDs, or even military IDs as acceptable -- you need a passport. That costs $165. And in order to get a passport, you need a certified birth certificate. So THAT is a big difference, isn't it? Drivers' license to buy beer? Fine, no prob. Drivers' license to vote? Sure, I have that. BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND PASSPORT TO VOTE? Now you have to make an appointment to apply for a copy of your birth certificate, then get passport picture taken, PAY $165 for passport, wait 4-6 weeks. If you had to do all that to buy a beer, buy a pack of cigarettes, or shovel snow, you'd rightly be pissed. Now apply that to voting. They're ALSO not saying how their unconstitutional POLL TAX bill does away with mail-in ballots. It's not a voter ID bill. It's a voter suppression bill.

@electionsjoe Worse than Afghanistan (which, mind you, was a defensive response with NATO) and far far worse than Iraq. This war is actually even more morally bankrupt.

@ChrisDJackson @MEVANS72 And when he finally ended one, media and the public gave him flack for it. Despite lifting 120,000 people out in a month. They called it “his Vietnam.” It wasn’t even close.

Good time to re-up this. Joe Biden was the actual peace president. No new wars. Alliances rebuilt. Stability restored. Americans were sold a false narrative and bought it. Now the consequences are global and they are catastrophic. Never forget who told you what and why.

@davidfrum Did Iran’s oppressed people want schools nominee and children killed? Their disgust of their regime does not mean, nor do they want, a war.

@HenMazzig Paper tiger argument. Being against this war is not equivalent to being pro-Iran regime. No more than being against Israel’s war against Gaza means being anti-Israel. But then again you believe that too.

Gentle reminder that the regime in Iran slaughtered over 40,000 Iranians last month for protesting. They raped, tortured, and held bodies hostage for ransom. That’s the regime you’re defending when you oppose the war.

We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? I just feel like expecting $120 is not realistic. ~Lea Robertson

So let me get this straight: the regime in Iran is targeting Kuwait's airport, Dubai’s hotels, Bahrain, Jordan, USA bases and consulate, and Israeli civilians— but Israel and the US are the “rogue countries” that must be stopped? Stop what? The regime in Iran gets to slaughter all the civilians they like, and anyone who interferes is evil? Who decided that?
Rep. Ilhan Omar@Ilhan

Statement from Rep. Ilhan Omar on Trump’s Illegal War on Iran: “President Trump is unilaterally dragging this nation into an illegal and unjustified war with Iran without congressional authorization, without a clear objective, and without any imminent threat to the United States. This is a reckless abuse of power that puts both innocent civilians and American lives on the line for a conflict the American people do not want. “As someone who has survived the horrors of war, I know that bombs do not build peace or create stability. Military strikes will not make us safer; they will inflame tensions and push the region further into chaos. When we abandon diplomacy, we choose destruction. “We know who will bear the cost of this decision: innocent civilians caught in the crossfire and our young service members sent into harm’s way. This is the devastating human toll of another regime-change war. Already, children and families are paying with their lives. There is no moral or strategic justification for this bloodshed. “The American people are exhausted by endless wars built on false promises and paid for with American and foreign lives. Congress must reassert its constitutional authority. We must vote immediately on the War Powers resolution authored by Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie. This unlawful operation must end immediately."

@MTA Asking again @MTA why your mobile home page DOES NOT have any service alerts. Severe delays this morning. The entire home page was reformatted with no subway info. And it’s still like this. I rebooted my phone. It’s not my phone that’s the problem.
