Over the past two days, GIPF hosted a 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 in Windhoek for members aged 45 to 59, providing practical guidance to help them confidently prepare for retirement. The sessions covered key topics including GIPF retirement benefits and procedures, financial literacy, the Pension-Backed Home Loan Scheme, and medical aid benefits under PSEMAS. Members also received important insights from NamRA on tax obligations, while the Bank of Namibia shared valuable information on identifying and avoiding financial scams and illegal investment schemes.
