Exciting news! Girls to Women Foundation has launched the Women in Mobile Tech & Entrepreneurship Project (WOMTEP), funded by @EMpowerweb 20 young women (15–24) from Northern Ghana are gaining skills in 📱 phone repairs, 💼 entrepreneurship & financial literacy. #WomeninTech

The selection process for the Women in Mobile Technology and Entrepreneurship Project in the Tamale Zone began yesterday. This transformative project is funded by @EMpowerweb and aims to equip young women practical vocational skills and economic opportunities in the tech space.

Yesterday, we commemorated the #IDay of the Girl Child in Tamale at Anbariya SHS on the theme "Girls' vision in the future" The girls were challenged to pursue their education to the apex. A brief lecture on Girs in Leadership was delivered and a sensitization on breast cancer.

We participated in a two-day workshop organised by the Ghana Statistical Service at the UDS Guest House/Conference Center. The workshop focused on the use of Multidimensional Poverty Reports, with representatives from all 261 MMDAs, StatsBank, media and CSOs. @CSOPlatformSDG

Yesterday, we ended our #menstrual hygiene management project at Kumbungu Senior High School. We equipped them over 100 underprivileged menstruating girls with knowledge on menstrual hygiene management and donated menstrual cups to all participants. #mhd2024
