Cracking day of girls rugby asoir teams attend festivals at Bishop Auckland and Barnard Castle. The u13s won 3 before one narrow defeat. The 15s has two convincing victories and the u18s has two mesmerising wins. @GirlsRyton @RytonRUFC #rugbywithasmile

@PhilWallisRFU @CarloWest1981 @RytonRUFC Phil gets your facts right. I spoke to the referee who asked the girls and they declined. Please see my retort about what we also did to even the game up. This is beginning to become Ryton bashing and quite frankly is unfair. They were heavily beat by Horden and nothing was said!

@CarloWest1981 @RytonRUFC The point is, it’s an RFU regulation, such as is “no contact outside of the season” etc. The coaches, needed to have that discussion about ending it carrying on the game. That I believe didn’t happen.

@PhilWallisRFU @RytonRUFC There has to be some leadership from coaches and managers. Mix them up and create a good experience for all players. This is not a World Cup final!

@RytonRUFC To put the record straight. DMP had 9 players and Ryton gave them 6 county players including 5 CoE. When the score got silly the DMP girls were given the option of ending the game and declined. The referee blew up 10 mins early. So hindsight police what else we could do?

@RytonRUFC Guys without knowing the full facts and being judgmental on open social media perhaps you could contact the coaches directly who can answer any questions you may have.

Ryton U13 girls. DMP Festival Ryton /Rovers /Horden beat Billingham/Stockton 11 tries to 6, they went on to beat Bishop/Barnard Castle 8 tries to 4. Then lost to a strong Castleford team. Great start #rugbywithasmile @RytonRUFC
