There needs to access to skilled trade classes that lead into real jobs. Not saying a military member can’t be a stock broker but I’m a general contractor and there’s a real lack of trades folks right now. Those are high paying jobs. What I can tell you is those that have been through the shit get a real good feeling of accomplishment starting a job and seeing it through completion. I hear stories every day. Now I know they could flourish elsewhere but that’s the world I live in and I see great work daily. One of my plumbers is my cousin that was army infantry in Desert Storm and he makes like $150k annually now. I’d hire these guys all day long b/c you know you can trust their word and their work ethic
