@theonlyHeidiK @USA_Anne711 Chlorine pretty much takes care of everything. When I shock and then add the tabs all the other levels fall into place. It’s rare for me to increase or decrease the PH or alkalinity.

@GirthyB @USA_Anne711 Do you need all the different pool chemicals to kill the bacteria or just one of them? Maybe you can use copper and then one chemical to kill what copper doesn't? I clearly don’t have pool.

Has anyone ever tried this pool hack? This Copper Hack evidently makes pool chemicals unnecessary… A man in the Georgia claims that simply throwing a few copper elbows into his pool skimmer is enough to keep the water crystal clear all year round — with zero chemicals, no salt, and without even running the filtration system. Previously, he was spending $200- $300 per month on pool products. Now he says that he spends nothing.
