Beautiful testimony from somebody many would look at and assume the worst. This man hated himself, he wanted to die. He tried, he kept trying and nothing worked, and then a friend suggested to him that he pray this little thing, “Ask God to open up the eyes of your understanding, to receive his love and his forgiveness.” The transformation that happened next is beautiful. Everyone has a special birth for this man. It’s 1st Timothy 1:13 “Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.”

A 110-unit housing development close to the border of Yosemite National Park is drawing outrage as mysterious developers move forward. The 31-acre property will be handled by Camp Yosemite LLC., a Fullerton, CA, company with a oft-disiplined former attorney and a former plastic surgeon at the helm. The area where the property is located can only be accessed by traveling through the park on taxpayer-funded roadways. That means there is only 1 way in and out the development, dangerous in case of wildfire. The proposal flies in the face of not developing in our national parks.
