@JamesKerrane @watchtowrcyber @MacHomebrew Hmm, we've never maintained the Homebrew install flow and our updates now point to GitHub releases anyway. I'll have to investigate what the steps are to changing this, but if anyone wants to url it should now point to our latest GitHub release.

@watchtowrcyber Should @MacHomebrew update/reject new casks with a download URL stored on an S3 bucket specifying sha256 :no_check? A search brings up 36 casks which are vulnerable to the supply chain attack you highlighted for @GitUpApp if the buckets are abandoned. Great article!

GitUp 1.4.2 is now available on the continuous channel. No user-facing fixes. We're rolling the Apple ID certificates and our builds will be hosted on GitHub rather than Amazon S3. We'll be dropping S3 at the end of August so please update to 1.4.2 to continue receiving updates.

@JaseKurasz Please file an issue on GitHub with your crash. We have one other report of a crash when double-clicking a commit on a particular repo. In the meantime all past versions of GitUp are available under GitHub releases.
