@mujahidayn @ibnmuharram @nujearya If Al-Hassan (RA) had not accepted Mu’awiya as the leader of the Ummah, the year would not have been named 'The Year of Unity.

@mujahidayn Finally you brought an authentic hadith! The Prophet (PBUH) made a specific supplication to Allah: 'O Allah, I am only a human being. If I should ever curse or invoke evil upon a Muslim who does not deserve it, make that a source of purity, reward, and mercy for him. ( Muslim).

I was playing with children that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) happened to pass by (us). I hid myself behind the door. He (the Prophet) came and patted my shoulders and said: Go and call Mu’awiya. I returned and said: He is busy in taking food. He again asked me to go and call Mu’awiya to him. I went (and came back) and said that he was busy in taking food, whereupon he said: May Allah not fill his belly! Ibn Muthanna, said: I asked Umm Umayya what he meant by the word Hatani. He said: It means “he patted my shoulders.” (Source: Sahih Muslim Book 45, Hadith 125 (English) reference : Book 32, Hadith 6298)

When the Prophet saw Abu Sufyan coming on a donkey, with Muawiyah and Yazid ibn Abi Sufyan driving it, he said, "May Allah curse the leader, the rider, and the driver!" (Tarikh Tabari 38:53; Ansab al-Ashraf of al-Baladhuri 2:121, a work of genealogy; and Sharh Nahj al-Balaghah of Ibn Abi al-Hadid al-Mutazili al-Shafi 6:289, 15:175, 15:289) The Prophet said, "Muawiyah is in a casket of fire in the lowest layer of hell, calling out, 'O clement One, O generous One!' He is given the answer, 'Now [you believe], but before you sinned and caused corruption" (Tarikh Tabari 38:55; Ibn Abi al-Hadid 15:176; the first sentence appears in Ansab al-Ashraf 2:121). The Prophet said, "from this mountain pass, a man from my community is coming who will be resurrected separate from my religious group," and it was Muawiyah who was coming (Tarikh Tabari 38:55; ibn Abi al-Hadid 15:176) The Prophet said, "When you see Muawiyah on my pulpit, kill him." (Tarikh Tabari 38:55; Ibn Abi al-Hadid 15:176; Ansab al-Ashraf 2:121)

@mujahidayn @nujearya @ibnmuharram Who Marched First?: It was Ali (RA) who mobilized his army and traveled all the way from Iraq to the Levant (Sham) to initiate the military confrontation with Muawiyah.

@mujahidayn @nujearya @ibnmuharram AlHasan RA voluntarily handed over the Caliphate to Muawiyah RA to unite the Ummah. If he was a kafir as you claim, why would AlHasan entrust the entire Muslim nation to him? It is historically documented that both Al-Hasan and Al-Huseyn (RA) accepted grand gifts from Muawiyah RA

Your ignoring the part where the prophet cursed Muawahiya several times. Look, if you want to look upto him, more power to you, no judgment. But I cant understand why despite the mountain of evidence against his character and the prophet himself cursing this man. Why cling to him to so hard?

@mujahidayn @nujearya @ibnmuharram Ali (RA) dismissed Muawiyah from his position as governor. The Role of Malik al-Ashtar: The presence of individuals like Malik al-Ashtar in Ali's camp was a major obstacle to peace. Al-Ashtar was a leader in the rebellion against the Caliph Uthman (RA) see pic. What do u expect?

In the Battle of Siffin, Mu'awiya ibn Abi Sufyan, the Governor of Syria, was considered the aggressor as he refused to recognize Imam Ali as the legitimate Caliph and challenged his authority, leading to war after the Battle of the Camel, though Mu'awiya portrayed his actions as seeking justice for the murdered Caliph Uthman. Ali sought peaceful resolution, but Mu'awiya's refusal to yield and his eventual use of Quranic tactics (raising Qurans on spears) forced arbitration, ultimately failing to resolve the fundamental conflict.

@mujahidayn @nujearya @ibnmuharram Muawiyah (RA) regularly sent grand gifts and stipends to the grandsons of the Prophet ﷺ. They accepted these gifts. Acknowledgment of Ali’s (RA) Virtue: Muawiyah (RA) famously stated: 'By Allah, I know that Ali is better than me and has more right to the Caliphate than I do.

@nujearya @mujahidayn @ibnmuharram The 'ruin of the Ummah' is not caused by defending Muawiyah RA. I wish I had died twenty years before this event!' who said that? Both were upon haq. But Ali was closer to it.

@GitqxU @mujahidayn @ibnmuharram Ali, radhiyallahu anhu, was upon haq, that is all that mattered. One must not curse Muawiyah, but the division that is caused from defending and cursing him has been ruinous to the ummah. If there is to be Sunni-Syiah unity, then this is something we all have to move on from.

@ibn_e_watan @mujahidayn @ibnmuharram On the contrary, the consensus of Sunni scholars throughout history is to remain silent regarding the disputes between the companions. They believe both sides were mujtahids for the one who was right there are two rewards, and for the one who erred, there is one. Are you a shia?

@mujahidayn @ibnmuharram As a Sunni, being nasibi is cursed. Sayyidina Ali bin Abi Thalib ra was the rightly guided Amir al-Mu'minin and an Ahl al-Bayt. There is no comparison between him and Muawiyyah, who was in the wrong. That said, the syiah also perpetuate division by cursing other sahabah
