Today we’re announcing the results of the first U.S. government-commissioned assessment of catastrophic risks from AI on the path to AGI. It was a year-long investigation into the national security risks introduced by advanced AI and culminated in an action plan to address them.

The authors of the report say they spoke to workers at all the top AI labs. Some of those workers harbor significant concerns about the safety of their work, the report claims, offering examples of alleged lax safety practices at unspecified labs time.com/6898961/ai-lab…
