@RoyalMailHelp I'm having difficulty booking a redelivery as I'm not able to travel back in time to any of the dates suggested? Can you help?

I’ve been thinking a lot about quiet leadership, quiet improvement and quiet working. So many people just get on with things, in a calm manner, no big statement or show. We need to see them more. Hear them more. Not take them for granted. The loudest person isn’t the only voice

Startling figures @ParamedicsUK and specifically @lizharrisFCPara have done a lot of work around self referral and the FtP process for paramedics If you are a member of @ParamedicsUK NEVER self refer until you speak to us via the contact details on the website
Andrea James@HealthRegLawyer

The latest HCPC #FitnessToPractise statistics show that paramedics make up 10% of the HCPC register but 23% of FtP cases. This continued over-representation merits formal review by the HCPC, NHS Employers & AACE, particularly at this time of extreme staff pressures & shortages

The pay offer is a disgrace in itself but the idea of a spine point just for nurses is divisive and insulting to our AHP colleagues. rcn.org.uk/news-and-event…

Hello! Made the difficult decision to scrap Etsy today due to the platform being really expensive to sell. So, introducing medimemos.co.uk - where new products will be added shortly. Thank you everyone for your amazing support. I am so proud to share them with you all.x

@JessicaSpara You'd likely have the opportunity to pick up an OT shift on a DCA. I do think that many trusts are missing a trick of more rotational roles. There's definitely an appetite for it (spoiler alert for my upcoming dissertation on Student Paramedic Career Aspirations!!!)

Do any trusts rotate specialist / critical care paras through standard DCA shifts as well as their usual crit care / high acuity roles? I would love to work towards crit care role in the future but Id miss having mixture of jobs (Non injury falls with lovely elderly pts for eg)

Trying to shut out the voice in my head saying that I should be moving with someone. Posing for photos with the keys captioned “our first home” and shit. Instead I’ll carry my sweet tortoise across the threshold and we will make a lovely peaceful home with an overflowing garden.

Packing up my flat in anticipation of moving early next month. Been here for 8 years. Lots of memories. Good, bad and traumatic. Moving to a “family home” as a friend called it, just me and Quentin.

@Zeshwan1992 hmm, if they are indeed "best qualified" or "most experienced" - how's that come to be? 48% of the ambulance workforce is Female, 30% is non-white. Yet this is not represented across the higher pay pands. What opportunities have they had that others have not been able to access?

“Colour doesn’t matter, the best person should get the job” Yes but are white men much better at the job than literally everyone else? I don’t doubt some of their capabilities. But in my experience, promotions can be ‘earned’ on a golf course, or lads holiday. #Bias

Senior leaders from the 🚑 sector met at our #Sandwellhub today. National Strategic Ambulance Adviser, Anthony Marsh, opened the event & provided an overview of why it’s important, now more than ever, to be on the front foot in preparations for dealing with a #majorincident.

@AspiringNurse22 @WeStudentNurse @WeNurses View it all through the eyes of a nurse. Find out what they know about the residents, how they advocate for them and how they feel accessing further medical care for them, remember though this is the patient's home so that care may not be as structured as it is in a hospital.

My next placement is a nursing home & I've mixed feelings: I love working with the client group but I've had some concerning experiences with care provided in grandparents' nursing homes. I'd be grateful for thoughts /advice please? #studentnurse #nurse @WeStudentNurse @WeNurses
