Big teams use predominantly positional attacks. Defences are now able to go man to man more often and negate positional attacks. Positional coaches don’t like trying to outplay man to man defences because it requires too much movement. Use set pieces/long balls to score instead.

The FIFA council has appointed London as the host city of the final phase of the 2026 Women's Champions Cup, which will have 4 matches between 28 January and 1 February. The dates for next year's Women's Africa Cup of Nations also confirmed - 17 March to 3 April 2026.
