@pbtide Students are typically called by their last names, maybe with an initial, like "Trammell, P." A teacher caught Ted Turner with his dorm room light still on after lights out, knocked on the door and asked, "Who's responsible for that light?" Turner said, "Edison, T. Sir." Clever.

Some of the older teachers I had were there to teach Ted Turner in the 50s. They remembered him well, all those decades later.

The boneyard in Arizona is an interesting place to visit, seeing pilots' signatures painted on their planes. More than just a machine to them.
