I just wanna play funny Galvan stuff, but god losing feels way worse than winning. I know it's a matter of time commitment, but it feels way better to just win with Lox.

New roa2 patch feels like it eliminated a character I'm considering maining from the equation. Rip Absa. My Lox is still by far my best. That said, god I want to play another character so bad because "optimal Lox" consists of doing a lot of things that aren't as cool as nooby Lox

In an interesting spot with roa2 where I like 3-4 characters TOO much and can't decide who to play. First time problem in a plat fighter. Galvan, Absa, Lox, Zetter are all too fun. Two of these are easy enough to bust out whenever, but Absa feels like she takes all my dedication

@Lurrold Haven't engaged or even seen the discourse at all, but anyone trying to say gear in any capacity is bigger is crazy work. MK is pretty much THE series that the wider audience outside of the FGC know. The amount of "Finish Him" and Scorpion references in media is huge

so people could try to beat Shao Kahn. Sub Zero/Scorpion are actually bigger than Sol by a very large margin. Shit I’d argue Mileena/Kitana are too 🤣 MK1 was piss sadly but the impact the series has had is way bigger than people give it credit for

I also think this highroading of MK is nuts. They pull so many casuals that get their eyes on fighting games. MK1 was piss but MKX had sick gameplay (not good, just sick), 11 had a ridiculous amount of single player content, and they literally were eating coins by the millions

Honestly, I don't think I'd be struggling with motivation and keeping my play shardp if I just actually adapted to system changes. I've been stubborn for no reason and just continue to play like it's still roa1. If I just actually held down on my stick ever it'd be so over

I need to actively play more people around my level in long sets in rivals. Most of my active friends are either a lot worse than me or are Naz level and I am NOT currently on Naz level of play. If you play roa and are looking for somebody patently okay to play while I derust hmu
