Our goal is identifying trends and shaping the future of research/strategy in the field. We aim to develop a global, truly intentional gathering of thought leaders in strategic communication focusing on new challenges and trends for the future of the field.

Thrilled to share that the 2027 GSCC Conclave is headed to Dubrovnik, Croatia, hosted by the University of Dubrovnik. Looking forward to an unforgettable gathering and to sharing GSCC expertise with academics and practitioners from across the Balkans.

March 10, Conclave Day 2: 2025 Berger Award Paper presentation by Drs. Cheng and Selaković, a keynote by Mr. Takashi Inoue (Inoue P.R., Japan), and engaging talks by Drs. Oliveira, Tsetsura, and Gonçalves on metamodern approaches, social issues, and ethics.

Missing Dr. Ruth Avidar @ravidar and Dr. Yicheng Zhu @Miguelitozhu, who had to cancel their trip due to force majeure (closed airspace, and cancelled connecting flights). Ruth, the 2025 GSCC Berger Award winner, still joined friends remotely despite the tense situation nearby.

Despite flight delays and travel disruptions, GSCC members gathered in Lisbon for the annual conclave at U of Lisbon on March 8th. Great to see old and new friends reunited again.☀️☀️

March 9: Conclave Day 1. The 2026 GSCC Conclave, themed “Public Policy Futures,” begins at ISCPS, University of Lisbon. Scholars and practitioners from 14 countries gather to explore how advances in AI are shaping global strategic communication and public policy.
