Game devs overthink this way too much. Just publish the game. Worst case, nobody plays it. Best case, it blows up and changes everything. You’ll never know which one it is unless you ship it.

The more stuff you carry, the more noise you create 🔔💥 I am working on this risk-reward mechanic to introduce more decision-making: will you collect more items faster or do you go the safe route? It will become even more meaningful in the score mode which will come later. Should more stuff on the belt make the player also slower?
